These are sprites I made in the format of the Ace Attorney game series for the 2008 Sprite Cup on Court Records, and won the grand prize with! They are of Neil Marshall, a deceased character from the first game you never see asides from a few flashback pictures who is nevertheless popular in the fandom. These were 100% drawn from scratch, except for his front-facing head, which is a sprite in the game. Court Records seems to be dying or dead so I've re-hosted them on my own site here.

Q: Why Neil?
A: Because of all the significant deceased characters he seemed easiest to draw and animate, not to mention it's not hard to imagine his movements.

Q: What program did you use to make these?
A: Photoshop for drawing the sprites and ImageReady (came with Photoshop 7) to animate them.

Q: Can I use these in my fan game?
A: Go ahead! Credit is appreciated.

Q: Will you ever finish the unfinished sprites (i.e. the close up shot)?
A: Maybe if there's enough demand for them.

Q: Do you plan on making any other characters?
A: I'd like to 'cause making these was fun, but only if I have the time. I'd like to make other prosecutors you never see courtroom sprites of.

Q: Why is the colour of his hat different from his official profile image?
A: Because I made a mistake. Whoops.
