completed November 2005 created with Painter 8, Photoshop 7 I'm not used to doing anthropomorphic characters, but this was fun to do! Fang is a fan character for Fred Perry's "Gold Digger," and Gina Diggers is one of the leads in the comic book series. I was asked to draw "Fang watching over Gina Diggers while she investigates an excavation site." I immediately got a cute image of Fang preventing Gina from being crushed by a huge collapsing wall in the nick of time while she's too preoccupied with her findings to notice. I learned a few tricks while doing this piece. I should do more pictures where the characters are interacting with the environment like this.
