Smile and Ash are two of many characters from the Japanese game pop'n music 4. They're normally drawn in a very small and cutesy Powerpuff Girls-esque style, and I liked their designs, so I drew what they'd be liked if they were of normal human proportions (or as normal as anime proportions get, at least). The no-legs thing was my lazy idea.
I stuck in some seemingly random english I grabbed from their bios to make it look like an official picture. It reads: "They are from Fairy Tale Kingdom. Smile likes to play guitar. He hates being mistaken for a mummy, and park pigeons. He is a member of "Deuil." Ash likes cooking, taking walks, and hates dog food and onions. They are new exciting characters from pop'n music 4, a challenging beat game from Konami. Push red button to start. Let's play!!"
